Job summary

CYBERBOT (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced QA Tester/Engineer to review software/applications and develop effective test plans and strategies.

You will conduct manual tests, troubleshoot issues, analyse results, and ensure the product is ready for deployment to live environments. The role involves reviewing requirements, designing test processes, executing tests across web and mobile platforms (Android and iOS), and contributing to process improvements and bug fixes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 2-4 years of quality engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with software teams.
• Analytical troubleshooting approach.
• Experience in web and mobile (Android/iOS) testing.

Responsibilities

• Review business/software requirements and provide inputs to improve quality.
• Create and design testing processes, test cases & test data.
• Execute manual tests, monitor systems, and verify software functionality.
• Ensure offerings are fully functional and QA for software products.
• Test and troubleshoot various tasks within the development process.
• Advise best practices and optimizations in testing and bug-fixing processes.
• Develop test plans and approaches to identify bugs and exploits in end-user-facing apps.
• Establish rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems.
• Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.
• Ensure defects are tracked and resolved promptly.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester / Engineer to reviewsoftware/applications and develop effective strategies and test plans.

You will be involved in conducting manual tests, troubleshooting potential issues, analysing results and data. Before deploying the software/application to live, you will need to ensure that it is suitable to be used.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute manual tests, monitoring system, and software functionality.
• Ensure offerings are entirely functional and provide quality assurance for software products.
• Testing and problem-solving of various tasks that work towards a development process.
• Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes.
• Develop test plans and new approaches for seeking out bugs and exploits in end-user-facing applications.
• Establish and implement rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems.
• Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.
• Ensure the defects raised are identified, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, of Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quality engineering or relevant roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills working with software development teams
• Analytical approach to troubleshooting
• Time management skills and organizational skills
• Experienced in Web and Mobile (Android, iOS) Application testing
