Job summary

MANFIELD EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PTE LTD is recruiting a QA Engineer for a leading semiconductor technology company. You will partner with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve daily quality concerns affecting both internal manufacturing processes and customer-reported issues.

You will conduct process and quality system evaluations to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and strengthen overall system effectiveness, while coordinating root cause investigations and 8D reports for quality

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Science or related field.
• 1–2 years QA experience in electronics/semiconductor industry preferred.
• Experience with document control, ISO audits and 8D problem solving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve daily quality concerns affecting manufacturing and customer issues.
• Conduct process and quality system evaluations to identify gaps and improvements.
• Coordinate root cause investigations and prepare CARs and 8D responses for non-conformities.
• Monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions from audits and CAPA.
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
• Review and maintain ISO procedures, work instructions and controlled documents.
• Support cross-department quality initiatives to improve product quality and yield.
• Provide guidance to QA technicians and inspectors and deliver training on quality standards.

Our client is a leading semiconductor technology company. The company needs QA Engineer.

• Partnerwith cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve daily quality concernsaffecting both internal manufacturing processes and customer-reported issues.
• Conductprocess and quality system evaluations to identify operational gaps, recommendimprovements, and strengthen overall system effectiveness.
• Coordinatewith relevant departments to perform root cause investigations and preparecorrective action reports (CAR) and 8D responses for quality non-conformities.
• Monitorand verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions implementedfollowing internal, external, and customer audits.
• Liaisewith suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to address quality-related issuesand ensure incoming materials and deliveries consistently meet establishedspecifications.
• Review,revise, and maintain quality management documentation, including ISOprocedures, work instructions, and controlled documents, to ensure complianceand continuous improvement.
• Leadand support cross-departmental quality improvement initiatives aimed atenhancing product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and production yield.
• Providetechnical guidance and quality expertise to QA technicians and inspectors,ensuring inspection activities are carried out in accordance with companystandards.
• Developand implement quality plans, procedures, and inspection methods to support theQuality Assurance function and achieve organizational quality objectives.
• Overseethe document control system by managing the distribution, revision, andmaintenance of quality documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with ISOrequirements.
• Organizeand deliver quality awareness and compliance training to employees, promoting aculture of continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Science or related fields
• Preferably 1-2 yearsof QA experience in electronics/semiconductor industry
• Advantage to haveprior experience in document control, ISO audit and 8D problem solving
