Job summary

TECNISCO ADVANCED MATERIALS PTE. LTD. seeks a QA/QC Engineer to ensure products, processes, and quality systems meet customer requirements and ISO standards.

Responsible for inspections, data analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across QA and QC operations. Key duties include maintaining the QMS per ISO 9001, preparing documents, controlling plans and PFMEA, auditing processes, and supervising QC inspectors on the production floor to ensure compliance and quality records

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent in electronics/quality engineering or related discipline.
• Polytechnic diploma holders with 3–5 years experience encouraged.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 QMS standards.
• Hands-on measurement with precision equipment (Mitutoyo Quick Vision, Keyence VR5200, VKX1000).
• Experience in data mining, trend analysis, SPC and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and report-writing.
• Self-starter able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement the Quality Management System per ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain quality documents, procedures, work instructions, inspection standards, and records.
• Review Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow, inspections, and quality plans.
• Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with quality requirements.
• Establish and monitor process quality KPIs and objectives.
• Conduct internal process and product audits.
• Support customer, supplier, and certification audits.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified.
• Supervise QC inspectors on the production floor.
• Review inspection reports and ensure proper documentation and record retention.
• Track yield trends and manage non-conforming materials.
• Establish SPC and monitor Cp, Cpk; verify dimensional, visual and functional specs.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

Job Scope / Description:

Job Summary:

To ensure that products, processes, and qualitysystems consistently meet customer requirements, company standards, applicablespecifications, and relevant ISO requirements. The QA/QC Engineer isresponsible for quality inspection, process control, problem-solving,corrective actions, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

A. Quality Assurance

• Maintain and implement the Quality Management System in accordance withISO 9001 and applicable customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain quality documents, procedures, work instructions,inspection standards, and quality records.
• Support preparation and review of Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow,inspection standards, and quality plans.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with establishedquality requirements.
• Establish and monitor process quality KPIs and objectives.
• Conduct internal process and product audits.
• Support customer, supplier, and certification audits.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented andverified.

B. Quality Control(QC) Operations

• Supervise and manage QCInspectors in their daily activities on the production floor.
• Performincoming, in-process, and final inspections according to drawings,specifications, Control Plans, and customer requirements.
• Review incoming,in-process, and final inspection reports, ensuring proper documentation andrecord retention in the system.
• Track and monitorincoming and final outgoing product yield trend
• Control and managenon-conforming materials and disposition activities.
• EstablishStatistical Process Control (SPC) and monitor process capability (Cp, Cpk).
• Verifydimensional, visual, functional, and other specified product characteristics.
• Ensureinspection equipment and measuring instruments are properly calibrated andmaintained.

Qualifications,Essential Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• 1.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics,Manufacturing Technology, Quality Engineering, or a relevant engineeringdiscipline, or equivalent.
• 2.Polytechnic Diploma holders with 3–5 years of experience are encouragedto apply for this post
• 3.Familiarity with and knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001,and ISO 45001).
• 4.Hands-on experience in measuring skills with equipment such as MitutoyoQuick Vision, Keyence VR5200, and VKX1000 will be an added advantage
• 5.Experience in data mining, trend analysis, control charting, statisticalanalysis, and continuous improvement.
• 6.Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, andPowerPoint.
• 7.Excellent communication, planning, documentation, presentation, andreport-writing skills.
• 8.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborativelywith cross-functional teams.
