Job summary

Neo Group is seeking a QA Assistant (Food Safety) to strengthen our department expansion in Singapore. You will uphold hygiene and food safety standards across assigned locations and support ISO 22000 and Halal compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections, lab sampling, audit support, SOP enhancement, and training material development. The role requires attention to records, pest control, and timely non-conformance rectification within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• A Level or Diploma or equivalent in Food Science/Technology or related field.
• Knowledge of SFA regulations, ISO 22000, Halal standards.
• Able to multitask and meet timelines.
• Team player, proactive and meticulous in work.
• Willing to work in the West (Singapore).

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily on-site inspection, personal hygiene checks, products checking and sample retention.
• Follow and assist in lab test sampling schedule.
• Assist in ISO 22000:2018 manual updates and implementation.
• Responsible for compliance with MUIS Halal Standards, application and renewal of Halal Certification.
• Assist in checking records, documents, and files.
• Attend to external auditors and internal auditors; assist for internal audits.
• Attend to pest programmes, follow up and rectification.
• Follow and enhance developed SOPs.
• Assist in developing food safety training materials and assessment plan.
• Detect any non-conformance and rectification immediately.
• Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by superior.
