Job summary

KLA is seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Management leader in Singapore to oversee daily purchasing, supplier management, and cost-control initiatives across Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Logistics. You will mentor a team, drive process improvements, and ensure policy compliance in a fast-moving environment.

The role emphasizes supplier negotiations, ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP), and cross-functional collaboration to optimize spend, inventory, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily purchasing activities to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders within authorized limits.
• Monitor inventory levels, supplier lead times, and demand forecasts to prevent material shortages and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Logistics teams to support business objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews based on quality, delivery, service, and cost.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable commercial agreements.
• Work with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and service issues.
• Supervise, coach, and develop purchasing team members.
• Establish performance goals and monitor team productivity.
• Provide training on procurement systems, policies, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Analyze purchasing trends, spending patterns, and supplier performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Experience
