Job summary

Accountant-General’s Department (AGD) is seeking a candidate to join the Cash Management & Payments (CMP) Branch, part of the Financial Reporting & Systems group. The role involves handling the Government’s daily payment and funds catering activities, and supporting central finance systems for vendors and SBs.

You will participate in policy reviews, drive procurement-to-pay improvements, and contribute to system enhancements while delivering user support to government agency users.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Experience in managing customers/helpdesk and system knowledge is a plus.
• Good knowledge of automation skillsets and coding skills is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Handling Government’s daily payment and funds catering activities.
• Engaging in policy and process reviews on payment-related matters at the Whole-of-Government level.
• Be involved in projects to improve and drive greater efficiencies in the public sector procurement-to-pay function.
• Participating in system enhancements in payment-related modules in the Government’s central financial systems.
• Providing user support by responding to queries from government agency users that use the Government’s central finance systems.
