Responsibilities

• Supervise servicing of appurtenances carried out by contractor.
• Supervise and carry out watermains cleaning operations.
• Lead projects to improve water reliability and quality in the water supply network.
• Supervise handing/taking over of newly laid watermains and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Supervise and carry out the flushing of watermains.
• Oversee valve operations to assist watermains maintenance and repair.
• Supervise NEA dengue hotspot activities, locate missing valves, liaison with SCDF.
• Distribute water bags/notices and provide temporary supply during interruptions.
• Generate Work Orders and Completion Certificates.

What The Role Is

The incumbent's job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

What You Will Be Working On

• Supervise of servicing of appurtenances carried out by contractor.
• Supervise and carry out of watermains cleaning operation.
• Projects to improve water reliability and quality in the water supply network
• Supervise of handing/taking over of newly laid watermains, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and carry out the flushing of watermains operation.
• Supervise and carry out the valve operations to aid watermains maintenance and repair works.
• Supervision of NEA dengue hotspots, tracing of missing valves, and liaising with SCDF
• Distribute water bags/notices and provide temporary supply to affected customers in the event of water interruption.
• Carry out administration work including generation of Work Orders and Completion Certificate.
• Preferably to possess at least a class 3 driving licence. Officer with at least class 3 driving licence is required to drive PUB vehicle.
