Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency invites applications for an Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer in the Catchment and Waterways Department, Drainage Operations Division. You will lead the development and review of emergency response frameworks, contingency plans, and response processes to ensure operational readiness during peacetime and in crises.

You will coordinate crisis response execution, monsoon preparation before the Northeast Monsoon, and collaborate with external agencies to plan flood

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Independent, result-oriented team player.
• Strong systemic thinking, communication, digitalisation and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and review of emergency response frameworks, contingency plans, and response processes to ensure operational readiness during peacetime
• Manage the execution of response plans during crisis and national emergency
• Coordinate monsoon preparation activities ahead of the Northeast Monsoon season
• Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to plan and conduct flood simulation, tabletop, and ground deployment exercises
• Drive the development and implementation of smart sensors and AI tools to enhance data collection and analysis, scenario planning, emergency response, and post-incident reviews to strengthen the organisation's overall emergency preparedness and resilience
