Job summary

National University Polyclinics is seeking an Associate Psychologist to provide psychotherapy triaging and supportive counselling, with accurate identification of risk and crisis intervention. The role involves collaboration with Psychologists and Doctors to optimise patient care.

The successful candidate will deliver psychoeducation, support caregivers, conduct telephonic/video follow-ups when needed, and maintain documentation in the EMR while tracking clinical indicators for the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Psychology from an accredited University.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate effective organisation and planning skills.
• Interest in clinical psychology and primary care mental health.
• Willing to travel to different polyclinics.
• Proficient in MS Office.

• Refer patients to alternative services or progress their treatment to a higher-intensity psychological therapy if necessary.
