Job summary

Clarity Singapore Limited is seeking an Associate Psychologist to join its Triage Team, supporting beneficiaries in the community.

Your role involves assessing routine psychological cases, delivering brief interventions under supervision, and developing psychoeducation programmes for clients and caregivers, with a strong emphasis on safety and best practices. Work is performed on-site in Singapore, with collaborative supervision from senior clinicians.

Qualifications

• Degree with Honours in Psychology or Masters in Counselling; relevant mental health experience preferred.
• Volunteer or internship experience in mental health is acceptable for fresh graduates.
• Confident, proactive and passionate team player with a heart for community work.
• Ability to work independently in challenging community settings and maintain professionalism.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in management and assessment of routine psychological cases, applying Mental State examination assessments, suicide and safety risk evaluations, triages and case formulations


• Provide structured brief intervention and routine psychological intervention under supervision


• Delivery of psychological programmes and services


• Delivery of psychoeducation programmes to clients and caregivers


• Adhere to professional policies and procedures for professional practice


• Any ad-hoc tasks and projects in relation to Clarity’s programmes and services as directed by the Executive Director

Requirements:

• Degree with Honours in Psychology/Social Work or Masters in Counselling. Relevant work experience with mental health clients preferred. Fresh graduates with volunteer/internship experience in mental health sectors may also apply.

• Prior work or voluntary experience working with persons with mental health issues
