Job summary

TMVC Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Clinical Psychologist (Adult) to work with General Practitioners at IMC, delivering comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatment to adults with depression and anxiety. The role involves formulation, diagnosis, and ongoing therapeutic support.

The successful candidate will have a Masters in Clinical Psychology with practical training, at least 5 years of hospital/clinical experience, private practice exposure, and registration eligibility in Singapore.

About the role

The Clinical Psychologist (Adult) will work collaboratively with General Practitioners at IMC to provide comprehensive psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment to adults with a range of psychological and emotional wellbeing needs, particularly depression and anxiety. The role involves psychological assessment, formulation and diagnosis, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, and ongoing therapeutic support and counselling.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including clinical interviews, mental status examinations and psychological testing
• Assess and diagnose a range of psychological conditions, where appropriate
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy
• Provide ongoing support, monitoring and counselling for patients experiencing mood and anxiety-related concerns
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide a coordinated approach to care
• Assess patient progress and modify treatment programs accordingly; communicate with and counsel family members as appropriate
• Document therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implement and adhere to policies which ensure patient confidentiality
• Work in collaboration with General Practitioners within the organization to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to develop and implement psychological aspects of Lifestyle Medicine services

About you

• Masters' degree in Clinical Psychology with practical training
• At least 5 years of related experience in hospital or clinical setting
• Experience working in private practice
• Registered and/or eligible for registration with the relevant professional body in Singapore
