Job summary

STARLINE HOLDINGS TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Manufacturing/Prototype Engineer to troubleshoot production stoppages and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead prototype build requests, assemble prototype products, and verify BOM and ERP data prior to production release. You will collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Planning, and Product Engineering to address design-for-assembly concerns, maintain work instructions, and ensure adherence to ISO

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and resolve production stoppages to keep lines running smoothly.
• Review BOMs and ERP data for accuracy before production release.
• Coordinate prototype build requests and scheduling with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain work instructions for prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level troubleshooting to resolve production stoppages.
• Support continuous improvement projects with Manufacturing Engineer.
• Lead prototype build requests and scheduling.
• Build and assemble prototype products per design requirements.
• Review BOMs and ERP data for accuracy before release.
• Coordinate with Production to identify correct material and routing.
• Ensure proper material usage and compliance with issuing procedures.
• Inspect engineering drawings against BOM accuracy.
• Submit ECNs for erroneous BOMs and documents.
• Create and maintain prototype work instructions.
• Ensure products meet Legrand standards and initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Product Engineering, Quality, Production on DFA concerns.
• Brief teams on product, quality, and safety information; provide status updates.
• Maintain documentation and filing per retention policy.
• Adhere to ISO 9001-2015 procedures.
• Support ad-hoc duties as assigned.
