Job summary

SIGMA DESIGN is seeking a skilled assembler to support prototype assembly and product manufacturing. The role involves mechanical and electrical subassembly work, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure parts meet test procedures and routing requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least a NITEC in engineering and around one year of related experience, with hands-on aptitude and basic digital literacy. A stable, air-conditioned lab environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum one year of recent direct or related experience required.
• Basic computer literacy, MS Office, and file navigation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assembles mechanical and electrical subassemblies and wire harnesses using hand tools and lab equipment.
• Tests functional performance and records results.
• Reads routings and blueprints, measures parts to tolerances.
• Maintains test equipment and clean work areas.
• Keeps supervisors informed on progress and workload.
• Performs ad-hoc duties including packing fabricated parts.
