Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Technology, Innovation or related discipline
• 12–15+ years of relevant experience in real estate, commercial strategy, innovation, customer solutions, business development
• Strong experience working across real estate, digital solutions, property technology and partnership management
• Domain knowledge in Property with experience in real estate functions such as asset management, marketing, leasing or operations
• Track record developing new businesses, products, platforms or technology-enabled solutions
• Demonstrated experience taking opportunities from business case and concept through implementation, scale and commercialisation

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology innovation agenda for the Workplace28 programme and new Comcentre HQ.
• Translate Workplace28 user experience ambitions into prioritised use cases and innovation workstreams, working with Workplace, IT, Tech, AI and Robotics specialists to develop appropriate solutions.
• Use existing Singtel commercial sites and workplaces as real-world innovation platforms to co-create, pilot and validate solutions for customers and future tenants of One Comcentre.
• Identify opportunities to extend the innovation approach and deploy successful solutions across Singtel’s wider property portfolio.
• Shape and manage Group Property’s innovation strategy, framework and portfolio, aligned with business, workplace and customer priorities.
• Establish a structured approach from opportunity discovery and prioritisation through business case, experimentation, validation, operationalisation and scale.
• Assess opportunities based on customer/user value, business impact, strategic relevance, scalability and commercial potential, working with technical teams to assess feasibility
• Establish clear governance, stage-gates and go / no-go criteria, and track innovation investment, progress and realised benefits
• Drive strong idea-to-pilot, pilot-to-scale discipline, progressing successful initiatives while stopping or redirecting those that do not demonstrate sufficient value
• Identify technologies and ecosystem partners that can address defined customer or business needs, working with technical specialists to assess feasibility
• Explore how Singtel’s in-house solutions, deep capabilities and broad ecosystem can complement externally sourced technologies to create differentiated customer solutions
• Maintain visibility of emerging technologies and market developments relevant to Property, Workplace and customer experience
• Build an innovation ecosystem across technology companies, start-ups, OEMs, research institutions, government agencies and strategic partners
• Facilitate co-creation, prototypes and pilot initiatives with ecosystem partners
• Connect external innovation with relevant Singtel capabilities and business opportunities
• Identify, develop and manage strategic innovation and commercial partnerships that accelerate Singtel’s innovation and business agenda
• Lead the development of MOUs, collaboration agreements, co-innovation and partnership arrangements, working with Legal, Procurement and relevant stakeholders
• Develop partnership models spanning co-creation, co-development, co-investment and go-to-market collaboration
• Structure partnerships around clear customer, strategic and commercial outcomes, rather than conventional buyer-vendor relationships
• Build long-term ecosystem relationships that provide access to new capabilities, innovation and business opportunities
• Identify opportunities to translate Property and Workplace innovations into scalable customer and business solutions
• Partner with Consumer and Enterprise to identify customer needs, market opportunities and differentiated propositions
• Develop customer-led solutions, value propositions, business and operating models, and routes to market
• Use Singtel’s physical environments as real-world platforms to validate solutions and demonstrate customer value
• Identify opportunities to create new value through enterprise adoption, external customer solutions and new business models
• Develop robust business cases covering customer value, investment, business impact, scalability and commercial potential
• Develop commercial and partnership models that enable viable deployment and scale, including co-investment, fee-based, subscription, revenue-sharing and platform models where relevant
• Identify and develop innovation funding opportunities, including internal investment, partner co-funding, grants and other funding sources
• Evaluate and recommend where Singtel should invest, partner, pilot, scale, commercialise or stop
• Track innovation investment and realised benefits, ensuring continued funding is supported by measurable outcomes and evidence of scalability
• Drive innovation from business case and pilot through implementation, adoption, scale and commercialisation
• Structure pilots around clear customer needs, business outcomes and measurable success criteria
• Orchestrate business, Property, Workplace, IT and ecosystem partners to translate concepts into operational solutions
• Develop the business and operating readiness required to move successful pilots into production, working with technology specialists on technical readiness
• Identify pathways to replicate and scale proven solutions across Singtel’s property portfolio and into Consumer and Enterprise opportunities
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on innovation, customer solutions, partnerships and new business opportunities
