Job summary

The Smart Local Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Projects & Marketing Executive to support management with market research, project coordination and branding initiatives. You will help drive new business opportunities and ensure delivery from brief to budget.

You will work closely with the Management Team, manage multiple projects, assist with CSR programs and client communications, and develop engaging content for social channels to grow audience and impact.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage content deliverables, coordinating with leads to ensure quality output.
• Develop marketing content for TSL Academy to engage communities and drive sign-ups.

About therole:

We are seeking a Projects & Marketing Executive who will work closely with the Management Team and receive constant guidance across the term.

This unique opportunity will allow you to be exposed to the workings of the largest new media business in Singapore and help drive real and impactful decisions that will define the company's path forward.

What you will do:

Strategic support duties:

• Support the development of the company's new businesses via in-depth market study, competitor research & project management
• Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations to aid management in decision-making
• Support the management team in ad-hoc projects including office improvement projects, employee wellness programs, new business development, and CSR programs (e.g. Award submission, employee engagement projects, SG60 anniversary events, End of Year Party)
• Securing barter partnerships & maintaining tracking of contracts, assisting Finance team with audits
• Transformation / change management-related projects
• Special audits of functions/entities or due diligence support

Project Management:

• Take over liaising with clients from the time project briefs are signed and ensuring its delivery until the end
• Planning, organizing, managing & executing the content deliverables, working with other leads to ensure quality output from brief to delivery
• Be able to accurately identify timelines to produce and maintain detailed and robust project plans
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Stay on top of project’s progress and changes, constantly checking in to ensure deliverables are adhered to, and monitoring the performance of the campaigns.
• Identify and foresee upcoming project challenges before problems surface. And if they do, mitigate and provide solutions in a timely fashion or escape the matter before it becomes crucial.

Marketing:

• To helm marketing & branding efforts and increase the following of TSL Academy & TSL Media Group’s social media channels (e.g. Instagram & LinkedIn)
• To manage and curate quality content to improve the branding/reputation of the channels
• Develop & execute marketing content for TSL Academy that will resonate with and add value to our communities
• Devise strategies to grow our social media channels and engage with potential attendees of TSL Academy courses to drive conversions & sign-ups (e.g. paid & earned media)
• Handle client engagements and take care of communications when needed.

The successful candidate should have:

• Possess or currently studying for a Diploma/Degree in Business/Finance/Economics or equivalent
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Able to thrive in a highly ambiguous environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to manage multiple activities and projects simultaneously
• Passion for new media, media, agency business
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Canva & GenAI tools
