Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Purpose

Manage capital projects; scope and design, source and procure equipment and instrumentation, manage activities across all project phases. Support GMP qualification activities for new technology and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
Capital Projects
  • Manage capital project- work with stakeholders to scope out project, manage activities across all project phases and ensure on-time completion
  • Responsible for sourcing and procuring of equipment and instrumentation required for the project
  • Ensure contractors’ work on site is carried out safely and to a high level of quality
  • Ensure project deliverables satisfies GSK Quality Management System (QMS) standards and Engineering Standard (GES) requirements
  • As a SME, work with Automation Engineer to design and implement system automation
  • Work closely with site utilities experts to implement, monitor energy usage/ efficiency of new air cooled chiller system
  • Train FM Engineers and Plant Technicians on maintaining/operating new equipment

Commissioning and Qualification
  • Support process engineering team in commissioning and qualification activities for new technology/capability and improvement projects
  • Develop, execute, and review validation protocols and related documentation
  • Lead the resolution of validation events and elevate concerns in a timely manner
Key Requirement
  • Minimum degree in relevant engineering field with at least 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Highly knowledgeable and competent in their field of work.
  • Demonstrate excellent GMP behaviour and safe practices.
  • Strong knowledge in pharmaceutical trouble-shooting experience.
  • Strong leadership in team management.
  • Good analytical skill in investigation.
  • Lead complex issues investigation and detailed troubleshooting.
