Job summary

Accent Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Site Engineer (ACMV) to join our dynamic engineering team on a full-time basis. This role is based in West Region of Singapore, focusing on overseeing air conditioning, mechanical ventilation and related systems on active construction and installation projects.

As a Project Site Engineer specialising in ACMV systems, you will ensure mechanical systems are installed, tested and commissioned to the highest standards, while adhering to schedules,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of site engineering experience in ACMV systems installation and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, duct design and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
• PEC registration or similar qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems on site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and engineering standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to monitor progress and identify any deviations from planned installation procedures.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and the design team to resolve technical issues and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Manage project documentation including site reports, inspection logs, test certificates and commissioning records.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of ACMV systems to verify performance and functionality before handover.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and site safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety amongst all site personnel.
• Coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other building services.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to senior management and clients.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment and labour costs related to ACMV works.
• Support project planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion of mechanical engineering works.

What we're looking for

• Valid driving licence is preferred

• Professional certification such as PEC registration or other recognised engineering qualifications is advantageous
