Job summary

Krohne (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project and Operations Assistant Manager to own end-to-end delivery of flowmeter and instrumentation projects from handover through engineering coordination, procurement, logistics, and final handover.

The role also oversees day-to-day operational processes, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and technically compliant outcomes across the department.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management and/or operations within process instrumentation or related capital equipment industries.
• Experience managing EPC projects is highly preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic/Electrical, Chemical or any Engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for flowmeter/instrumentation orders from kickoff to closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders on status and delivery schedules.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and billing plans; track progress against baseline.
• Collaborate with Sales on handover, scope clarification, and order revisions.
• Coordinate technical documentation between factory, sales, and customer.
• Control project cost budgets, track costs, and liaise with Finance on invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Identify and mitigate project risks (technical, schedule, commercial).
• Oversee order-to-delivery operations: order entry, lead-time tracking, freight, customs, delivery.
• Manage end-to-end procurement, negotiate POs, pricing, and terms.
• Coordinate after-sales service logistics like calibration, repair, and exchanges.
• Maintain SOPs for order processing, logistics, and handover between sales and operations.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, project margin, backlog aging.
• Supervise project coordinators and allocation of workload.
• Coordinate with Factory on delivery matters and support tender/bid schedules if required.
