Job summary

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites applications for a Project Officer to assist in the design of high-performance optoelectronic devices at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The role includes conducting theoretical and experimental research, designing devices such as topological lasers, detectors and waveguides, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams while preparing publications and presenting findings at conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

We are looking for a Project Officer who can help the team withdesign of high-performance optoelectronic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct theoretical and experimental research on Optoelectronic devices.

• Design and implement devices such as topological lasers and detectors and waveguides.

• Develop and validate devices such as lasers and detectors and waveguides.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore practical applications of Optoelectronic devices

• Prepare high-quality research publications and present findings at conferences and seminars.

Qualifications:

• Minimally Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering or other related fields.

• Experience in design of high-performance optoelectronic devices.

• The ability to conduct independent research is highly desirable.

• Good written and oral communication skills.
