Job summary

NTU Singapore's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering seeks a Project Officer to assist the team in designing high-performance optoelectronic devices.

You will conduct theoretical and experimental research on optoelectronic devices, design and validate lasers, detectors and waveguides, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and prepare research publications for conferences and seminars. Shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in design of high-performance optoelectronic devices.
• The ability to conduct independent research is highly desirable.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct theoretical and experimental research on Optoelectronic devices.
• Design and implement devices such as topological lasers and detectors and waveguides.
• Develop and validate devices such as lasers and detectors and waveguides.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore practical applications of Optoelectronic devices.
• Prepare high-quality research publications and present findings at conferences and seminars.
