Job summary

Cable Care Pte Ltd in Singapore invites applications for a project manager role focusing on Structured Cabling and ELV systems. You will oversee projects from planning to handover and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in commercial, residential or data centre projects, with knowledge of cabling standards, testing, and budget control. Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT or Building Services is

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, Building Services or related field.
• 5–10 years in Structured Cabling, ELV or ICT projects; experience in commercial, residential or data centre projects.
• Familiar with network cabling certification and testing.
• Proficient with ISO/IEC standards, fibre and copper cabling, ELV integration, MS Office and PM tools.
• Strong project coordination, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Structured Cabling and ELV projects from planning to completion.
• Plan and control project budget, costing, and resources to meet budget.
• Review drawings, specifications and material submissions for compliance.
• Coordinate technical requirements for Structured Cabling, network cabinets and containment systems.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project schedule, manpower and site progress to meet deadlines.
• Supervise installation works and ensure quality, safety and standards.
• Prepare and monitor project cost reports, variation orders and claims.
• Manage testing, commissioning, documentation, as-built drawings and handover.

Job Description

• Manage and oversee Structured Cabling and ELV projects from planning to completion;
• Plan and control project budget, costing, and resources to ensure projects are delivered within budget;
• Review drawings, specifications and material submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements;
• Coordinate technical requirements for Structured Cabling (Copper/Fibre), network cabinets and cable containment systems; familiarity with CCTV, Access Control, Public Address and Intercom systems will be an advantage;
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors for smooth project execution;
• Monitor project schedule, manpower and site progress to meet deadlines;
• Supervise installation works and ensure quality, safety and technical standards are met;
• Prepare and monitor project cost reports, variation orders (VO) and claims;
• Manage testing, commissioning, documentation, as‑built drawings and project handover.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ElectronicsEngineering, IT, Building Services or related field;
• Experience: 5–10 years in Structured Cabling, ELV or ICTprojects; experience in commercial, residential or data centre projects; familiar with network cabling certification and testing;
• Technical Knowledge: Structured Cabling standards (ISO/IEC), fibre and copper cabling, ELV system integration, Microsoft office applications and project management tools;
• Skills: Project coordination and leadership, stakeholder communication, technical drawing interpretation, problem-solving and decision‑making;
• Preferred Certifications: Safety certifications (WSH/MOM) and 3rd party vendor certification.
