Job summary

CPG Facilities Management Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Project Manager/Resident Technical Officer to supervise town council upgrade projects from commencement to completion.

You will prepare documentation for submissions, conduct inspections, supervise contractors, monitor works, and ensure compliance with design and specifications, while keeping accurate records and reporting to the Town Council and relevant authorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Building/Project Management or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience; cyclical work such as Addition & Alteration, Repairs & Redecorations and fitting out works.
• Resident Technical Officer certified
• Good interpersonal and leadership qualities.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Independent, resourceful and able to perform under pressure with minimum supervision.
• A team player with good interpersonal and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for supervising the improvement, cyclical and special projects in the Town council and other upgrading and project management works. You shall oversee the execution of the project till its completion.
• You will be required to do administrative works such as preparing documentations for submissions to client and the relevant authorities as and when required (e.g. plans, designs, drawings, costings etc.)
• You will be required to carry out inspections (structural and handing over) when required or as requested by the client and ensure proper records are kept.
• You will be required to supervise contractors and ensure works carried out do comply with specifications and drawings.
• You will provide RTO service and be responsible for inspecting and supervising the testing of works, keeping records of the works and reporting to the Town Council as well as relevant authorities.
• You will ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the design and specifications and monitor the project from Commencement of Works through Completion of Works.
• Any ad hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.
