Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager Signalling to lead delivery across onshore and European offshore teams, ensuring quality, schedule and cost targets. You will own contractual matters and manage subcontractors to meet project milestones.

The role requires extensive signalling domain experience, strong communication across levels, and solid knowledge of contracts and finance. Flexible working arrangements are offered to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Substantial Project Management knowledge with 5+ years as PM and 10+ years in Signalling.
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels and professionals.
• Knowledge of contracts and financial management.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
• Desirable knowledge in other railway core systems (electrification, rolling stock and telecommunications).
• Ability to steer various professionals and subcontractors to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery with local onshore team and offshore team in Europe (Design, R&D and manufacturing).
• Responsible for the project P&L, working closely with the Commercial PM.
• Formulate efficient strategies to achieve project targets.
• Drive the overall progress of the project (Installation, Trains, Coordination, T&C).
• Own all contractual matters, working closely with the Contract Manager.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and advise on improvement measures.
• Ensure testing progress working closely with the T&C Manager.
• Establish close relationships with customer project team for successful completion of various project stages.
• Ensure compliance with LoA and QM Processes within Siemens in the areas of responsibilities.

To lead as Project Manager Signalling, ensuring project delivery in terms of quality, schedule, and cost, and reporting to the Head of Projects:

• Lead project delivery with local onshore team and offshore team in Europe (Design, R&D and manufacturing).

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

• Substantial Project Management knowledge, with at least 5 years of experience as PM and at least 10 years’ experience in Signalling projects; experience in brownfield projects is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels and qualifications of professionals.
• Knowledge of contracts and financial management.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
• Desirable knowledge in other railway core systems (electrification, rolling stock and telecommunications).
• Ability to steer various professionals and subcontractors to meet project needs. Solid professional judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Team player who is analytical, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant PM Certification is a plus.
