Job summary

FUCHI PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead ERSS projects, including sheet piling, soldier piling, strutting, waler, decking, and excavation supports. You will plan programmes, manage manpower and equipment, and coordinate with contractors, clients, and authorities to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in relevant construction, and a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering or construction management.
• 8 years of relevant construction experience.
• ERSS experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ERSS projects including sheet piling, soldier piling, strutting, waler, decking and excavation support works.
• Plan and monitor project programme, manpower, machinery, materials and site resources.
• Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Foremen and workers.
• Coordinate with main contractors, clients, consultants and authorities.
• Monitor progress, productivity, costs and profitability; implement recovery actions.
• Collaborate with commercial/QS on progress claims, variations, EOT, backcharges and final accounts.
• Coordinate with Technical & Design, HSE, QAQC, Supply Chain and Machinery teams.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, method statements, quality requirements and WSH regulations.
• Identify risks and delays; provide timely solutions and escalation.
• Maintain project records, reports and documentation for close-out.
• Build a high-performing project team and maintain client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and monitor project programme, manpower, machinery, materials and site resources.
• Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Foremen and workers.
• Coordinate with Main Contractors, clients, consultants and authorities on project matters.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, costs and profitability; implement recovery actions where required.
• Work closely with Commercial / QS team on progress claims, variations, EOT, backcharges and final accounts.
• Coordinate with Technical & Design, HSE, QAQC, Supply Chain and Machinery teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, method statements, quality requirements and WSH regulations.
• Identify project risks, technical issues and delays, and provide timely solutions and escalation to management.
• Maintain proper project records, reports and documentation for project close-out.
• Build and lead a high-performing project team and maintain good client relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' relevant construction experience, preferably in ERSS, deep excavation, piling or temporary works.
• Proven experience managing construction projects from start to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction practices, project planning & site operations.
• Good commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently & manage multiple project priorities.
• ERSS experience will be an advantage.
