Job summary

LONGPORT Whale is seeking a project-driven professional to deliver and implement securities systems for HK brokerage clients. You will install, configure, test, and provide go-live support while coordinating with clients and internal teams across regions.

The role requires 3+ years in brokerage or securities systems project management, strong communication, and the ability to manage risks and schedules, with English and Chinese proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in brokerage or securities systems.
• Bachelor's degree or above in CS/IT/Financial Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with securities systems go-live processes and regional markets.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and implementation of securities systems for HK brokerage clients, including installation and go-live support.
• Coordinate project resources, develop project plans, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide technical support related to the securities market, including integration with SGX or HKEX.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the securities system's framework and assist clients in completing go-live.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage project risks, and improve client satisfaction.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery and implementation of securities systems for Hong Kong brokerage clients, including installation, configuration, testing, and go-live support
• Coordinate project resources, develop project plans, track project progress, and ensure on-time delivery
• Provide technical support related to the securities market, including technical integration with the SGX or Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX)
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the securities system's fundamental framework and assist clients in completing system go-live
• Maintain efficient communication with clients and internal teams (technical, product, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution
• Troubleshoot issues encountered during project implementation, manage project risks, and improve client satisfaction
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 3 years's of project management experience, with work experience in brokerage firms or related to securities systems is preferred
• Familiarity with the foundational framework of securities systems, system go-live processes and a good understanding of the securities market across the region.
• Capable of seamless communication with clients and teams
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and stress management skills
• PMP certification holder is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (desired but not a must) to communicate with stakeholders across Southeast Asia and Greater China region
