Job summary

BuildBridge Partners Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager/Project Director to lead data centre construction projects from planning through completion. You will manage planning, execution, and coordination across civil, structural, architectural and M&E works, ensuring quality, safety and on-time delivery.

The role requires a civil/structural/mechanical/electrical engineering degree and extensive construction PM experience, preferably with main contractors, to drive project success

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Extensive project management experience in construction, preferably with a main contractor.
• Experience managing data centre construction projects.
• Strong understanding of building construction, M&E coordination, scheduling, cost control and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee data centre construction projects, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements.
• Manage overall project planning, construction execution, resource allocation and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Oversee civil, structural, architectural and M&E works, ensuring effective coordination across all disciplines.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays and implement recovery plans where necessary.
• Manage project costs, contractual matters, variations and commercial risks in coordination with the relevant teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, workplace safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Lead project meetings, review progress reports and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and construction challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive coordination, quality control, risk management and timely completion of data centre projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project managers, engineers and site teams.
• For Project Director-level candidates, oversee overall project strategy, resource planning and performance across major project teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Extensive project management experience in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
