Job summary

Durapower Technology (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple functions, including Sales, Engineering and Supply Chain. The role emphasizes governance, risk management and cross-cultural collaboration in a fast-growing, de-carbonisation focused business.

You will drive schedules, budgets and milestones, ensuring effective handover to Aftersales and alignment with quality and change-control processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of project-management experience in relevant industries.
• PMP certification or PMP course preferred; familiarity with PMBOK-based methods.
• APQP/IATF 16949 or Stage-Gate governance is advantageous.
• Proficient in project scheduling and reporting using MS 365 and PM tools.
• Able to use AI responsibly to support PMO work.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural leadership.

Responsibilities

• Project delivery: define scope, deliverables, WBS, resources, milestones and acceptance criteria.
• PMO governance: lead kick-off, stage-gate reviews, weekly meetings and executive reporting.
• Cross-functional leadership: coordinate Sales, Engineering, Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Aftersales, suppliers and customers across regions.
• Risk, quality and change control: drive early risk identification, issue escalation, NCR closure, configuration control, ECN and variations.
• Commercial control: track budget, cost, cash-flow milestones, project gross profit/margin and forecast-at-completion; initiate corrective actions.
• Customer and handover: manage technical/commercial communication, FAT/SAT and delivery readiness; ensure complete documentation, training, warranty/spares readiness and formal handover to Aftersales.
• AI-enabled execution: use approved AI tools to improve planning, meeting minutes, action tracking, risk analysis, schedule/report preparation and management dashboards.

What you will do

• Project delivery: Define scope, deliverables, WBS, resources, milestones and acceptance criteria; maintain an integrated schedule, critical path and recovery actions.


• PMO governance: Lead kick-off, stage-gate reviews, weekly project meetings and executive reporting; maintain RAID, action, decision and lessons-learned logs.


• Cross-functional leadership: Coordinate Sales, Engineering, Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Aftersales, suppliers and customers across regions.


• Risk, quality and change control: Drive early risk identification, issue escalation, NCR closure, configuration control, ECN and Variation Order evaluation/approval.


• Commercial control: Track budget, cost, cash-flow milestones, project gross profit/margin and forecast-at-completion; initiate corrective actions and commercial recovery when performance deviates.


• Customer and handover: Manage technical/commercial communication, FAT/SAT and delivery readiness; ensure complete documentation, training, warranty/spares readiness and formal handover to Aftersales.


• AI-enabled execution: Use approved AI tools to improve planning, meeting minutes, action tracking, risk analysis, schedule/report preparation and management dashboards, with human validation and data-confidentiality controls.

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related discipline.


• Minimum 8 years of project-management experience, preferably in lithium-ion batteries, automotive, electric mobility, energy storage, manufacturing or power engineering.


• PMP certification or completion of a recognised PMP/project-management course is preferred; practical knowledge of PMBOK-based methods, APQP/IATF 16949 or Stage-Gate governance is advantageous.


• Proficient in project scheduling, Microsoft 365 and project-management/reporting tools; able to use AI responsibly to facilitate PMO work.


• Strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills; able to lead independently in a regional, cross-cultural environment.
