Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is assisting a client in the M&E Engineering industry to hire a Project Manager (ACMV) for a 3-year contract. You will lead end-to-end HVAC installation projects across various sites in Singapore.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and 8+ years in HVAC/M&E project management, with hands-on site and budget experience, shop drawings, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 8+ years in HVAC/M&E or building services project management.
• Experience managing site installations and budgets.
• Familiarity with HVAC shop drawings and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HVAC installation projects from planning to delivery.
• Develop schedules, coordinate manpower and subcontractors, monitor costs.
• Supervise site activities, inspect workmanship, resolve issues.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities.
• Review shop drawings and method statements for specs and safety.
• Oversee testing, balancing, commissioning and handover docs.

Job description

Our esteemed client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking a Project Manager (ACMV) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: 3 years contract
• Position: Project Manager (Mechanical/ ACMV)
• Location: Islandwide (depends on project’s location)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monto Thu, 8.30am to 6pm; Fri, 8.30 - 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $8,000 + Mobile Allowance + Transport Allowance*+ Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of HVAC installation works for construction and engineering projects, ensuring completion according to project specifications, timelines and budgets.
• Develop project schedules, coordinate manpower and subcontractors, and monitor project costs and progress.
• Supervise site installation activities, inspect workmanship and resolve technical issues or delays.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review shop drawings and method statements, ensuring works comply with technical specifications, applicable building regulations and safety requirements.
• Oversee testing, adjusting, balancing and commissioning of HVAC systems, including final handover documentation, as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in HVAC,M&E or building services project management within the construction industry.
• Experience managing site installations, subcontractors, project schedules and budgets.
• Familiarity with HVAC shop drawings, method statements, testing and commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Able to work in different site locations and adapt to dynamic project environments.
