Job summary

Recruitpedia Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end HDB construction and upgrading projects in Singapore.

You will ensure on-time delivery within budget, while upholding quality and safety standards in resident-occupied environments. The role requires 5+ years of project management experience in building construction, with strong leadership and coordination skills to liaise with HDB, consultants, authorities and residents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or related discipline.
• Post-graduate working experience in building construction, preferably HDB projects.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in building construction projects.
• 5.5 days week, Alternate Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to handover, aligning with HDB specs and drawings.
• Oversee daily site operations, lead project teams, and manage subcontractors for quality and safety.
• Coordinate with HDB, consultants, authorities and residents to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor budgets, manage variation orders and claims, and track progress against schedules.
• Enforce Workplace Safety & Health standards and implement quality controls to meet CONQUAS targets.

Job description

Role Overview:

Responsible for the end-to-end management of Housing & Development Board (HDB) construction and upgrading projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, while managing the unique challenges of working in resident-occupied environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution:Lead the full project lifecycle from planning and construction to handover, ensuring alignment with HDB specifications, BCA regulations, and approved drawings.


• Site & Team Leadership:Oversee daily site operations, lead project teams, and manage subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and safety compliance


• Stakeholder Coordination:Act as the primary liaison with HDB, consultants, authorities, and residents, resolving technical and site issues


• Cost & Schedule Control:Monitor project budgets, manage variation orders and claims, and track progress against master schedules to ensure timely completion


• Quality & Safety:Enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and implement quality control measures to achieve CONQUAS targets and ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, other discipline recognized by the relevant

Good experience of post-graduate working experience in the building construction industry, preferably in HDB projects

Minimum 5 years of project management experience in building construction projects.

5.5 days week, Alternate Saturday
