Job summary

Thales Singapore is seeking a project leader to drive software-centric programs in aerospace, defence and security. You’ll guide capture, bid and delivery teams, translate customer needs into baseline requirements, and act as primary interface with customers on architecture, design and performance.

You’ll need 5+ years in similar roles on software projects, with UTM/ATM domain knowledge, stakeholder management across cultures, and experience with Product-driven, Lean/Agile, SaaS and cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in similar positions on software-centric projects.
• Experience in UTM or ATM domain and related standards.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders with different objectives.
• Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with international customers.
• Experience with Product-driven models, Product Line Engineering and Lean/Agile practices.
• Experience with SaaS and cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Capture, bid and project team understanding of context; define initial needs baseline.
• Act as the primary leader of the project team.
• Lead interface with the Customer regarding solution architecture, design and performance.
• Report on project progress both internally and externally.
• Timely escalation to Management as needed.
• Understand and translate customer needs; orient solution to the product architecture and roadmap.
• Master project requirements.
• Ensure interface with customer until delivery and deployment.
• Identify risks and opportunities and related mitigation plans.
• Organise meetings and peer reviews to manage identified risks.

Responsibilities :

• Support capture, bid and project team tounderstand the context and customer needsand defines the initial needs baseline;
• Acts as the primary leader of the project team.
• Acts as lead interfacewith the Customer as regards Solution architecture, design and performance
• Reports on the project progress, internally and externally
• Alertsin a timely manner the Management as needed.

More precisely in the context of the project:

• Understand and translate customer needs and orient solution to comply with the product architecture and roadmap,
• Master project requirements,
• Ensure interface with customer until delivery and deployment
• Identifies and reviews the risks and opportunities and the related mitigation plans throughout the project
• Organiseswhen appropriate meetings and peer reviews in order toperform against the risks identified

Requirement:

• 5+ years experience in similar positions on projects delivering software-centric systems.
• Good experience in the UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) or ATM (Air Traffic Management) Domain and knowledge of relative standards
• Experience in managing diverse stakeholders with different objectives
• Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and with international customers
• Experience in Product driven model, Product Line Engineering and Lean/Agile Engineering
• SaaS and Cloud based solution
