Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Singapore is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-impact defense and communications projects from concept through deployment. You will coordinate with global stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure successful delivery of complex systems.

The role requires a technical engineering background, 5+ years of PM experience in defense or related sectors, security clearance eligibility, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in defense/aerospace/naval comms.
• Eligibility for Singapore Government Security Clearance (G50 / CAT) for local projects.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support local and international accounts.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end project delivery from sales handover to final field deployment.
• Serve as central interface for clients and internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables.
• Actively manage budgets, schedules, milestones, and risk registers to protect margins.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive status reports, technical documentation, and executive summaries.

Job description

Lead high-impact defense and communications projects from concept to deployment, working with cutting-edge technologies and global stakeholders.

Your tasks

• End-to-End Execution - Drive the delivery of projects from initial sales handover through to final field deployment.
• Client & Stakeholder Management - Serve as the trusted central interface for customers and internal stakeholders to ensure meeting the deliverables
• Financial & Risk Governance - Actively manage project budgets, schedules, milestones, and risk registers to protect delivery timelines and financial margins
• Reporting & Documentation - Compile and deliver comprehensive project status reports, technical documentation, risk assessments, and executive summaries for internal management and external stakeholders.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline will be an advantage
• Experience Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on project management experience, ideally handling high-value systems within defense, aerospace, or naval communications
• Security & Clearance Ability to handle classified information securely. Candidates must be eligible for, or currently hold, Singapore Government Security Clearance (G50 / CAT level) for local project requirements
• Mobility Willingness and capability to support both local accounts and international projects, including occasional overseas travel
• Certification & Skills PMP, PMI, or IPMA certification is highly preferred
• Must possess excellent communication and technical reporting skills, a sharp commercial mindset, and the ability to thrive under pressure
