Job summary

Leighton Asia in Singapore seeks a senior project leader responsible for delivering hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects from design through commissioning and handover.

You will manage schedules, budgets, procurement, and risk; coordinate consultants, contractors and clients; drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects from design through commissioning and final handover.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, procurement activities, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, client representatives, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Drive project safety, quality, and compliance standards across all phases of construction.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and operational readiness activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience delivering large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, MEP systems, commissioning, and project controls.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
