Job summary

MAHALAKSHMI ELECTRICAL PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Electrical & Process Control System Engineer with 25+ years of Singapore project exposure. The role covers site management, tender coordination, design reviews, load-flow studies, and selection of switchgear, transformers and LV switchboards.

You will work with consultants, clients and main contractors to ensure compliant drawings, BOQs, safety standards and QA/QC excellence across electrical & instrumentation construction projects.

Qualifications

• Over 25 years of experience in Singapore projects.

Responsibilities

• Project site management and coordination with consultants and main contractors.
• Prepare tender documents and submit tender queries to consultant design and D&B projects.
• Design and load-flow study of client equipment; prepare SLD and select switchgear, transformer and LV switchboard.
• Knowledge of AB/ABB/Schneider PLC for process modification and update; BMS programs in industrial buildings.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractor managers for design, red-marked drawings approvals and BOQ for construction works.
• Experience with BIM MEP (Revit/Navis/NWD) to verify drawings for the construction team and prepare equipment BOQ.
• Execute electrical & instrumentation construction projects per main contractor schedule; coordinate with other trades.
• Observe safety violations and correct unsafe works.
• Review RA, SWP and MOS for smooth installation.
• Monitor QA/QC and train QA/QC teams if quality lacks before client inspection.
• Review ITP and QA/QC checklists per client requirements.

Job description

Degree / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Process Control System Engineering and More than 25 years of Experience in Singapore Projects

Project Site Management and Coordination with Consultant, Main Contractor

Prepare the tender document and submit the tender queries to the consultant design and D&B Projects

Design, Develop, Load flow study of the client Equipment and prepare the SLD and choose the right Switch Gear, Transformer and LV SWBD

Knowledge in AB, ABB,Schneider PLC for modify and update the process, BMS programs in industrial building

Coordinate with Consultants, Clients, Sub Main contractor Manager / Engineer for Design, Red Marking Drawings for approval, BOQ for Construction Works Execute

Must Experience in theusage of Bim MEP (Revit / Navis / NWD Software and 3D ) model to verify the drawing for construction team and Prepare the equipment BOQ to submit procurement team

Execute the Electrical& Instrumentation construction project base on Main contractor schedule, coordinate with other trade contractor to sharing the CSD Support System

Observation of the Safety violation and Correcting the unsafe works

Review the RA, SWP and MOS for smooth installation

Monitor the Quality and provide the training for QA / QC Teams if quality lack before ClientInspection

Review the ITP, QA/QC Check list as per Client requirement
