Job summary

Binnies is seeking a Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team on coastal and drainage infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will coordinate sub-consultants, contractors and surveyors, ensuring contract compliance and timely deliverables.

Ideal candidates will have about 12 years of relevant experience, a university degree, and registration as a Professional/Chartered Engineer. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring close coordination with the Board.

Qualifications

• Must have strong project leadership and coordination abilities.
• Significant experience overseeing coastal and/or drainage infrastructure projects.
• Registration as a Professional/Chartered Engineer or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, including sub-consultants, specialists, contractors and surveyors, to deliver project deliverables in line with contract requirements.
• Liaise with the Board and attend all meetings in-person.
• Coordinate, track and manage the study to meet milestones; ensure integrated coastal protection and stormwater management studies.

Job description

Roles, Responsibilities And Pre-requisites Of Project Manager Are

• Full-time to manage the whole of the project team (including any sub-consultant(s), specialists, contractor(s) and surveyor(s) and deliverables. He or she shall ensure that the services are carried out in accordance with the Contract requirements and satisfaction of the Board.
• Responsible for activities of the Project Team and shall liaise with the Board and attend all meetings in-person.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Study is well coordinated, tracked and managed to meet the timeline of the key milestones. He or she shall ensure that the methodology adopted is consistently applied across the different area; and the coastal protection measures and stormwater management solutions, including all supporting studies such as CBA, MCDA and ES, are well integrated, analysed holistically and coordinated.
• Preferably possess about 12 years of experience in managing coastal and/or drainage infrastructure projects e.g. planning, design and/or implementation phases of coastal and/or drainage infrastructure projects.
• Possess at least a university degree or any other qualification acceptable to the Board and is a registered Professional / Chartered Engineer under the Civil Engineering or Coastal Engineering discipline or any other discipline acceptable to the Board.
