Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking a hands-on delivery-focused Project Manager/Business Analyst to support a portfolio of commercial digital initiatives. You will bridge business analysis and project delivery, from problem definition through prioritisation, planning, and execution.

The role requires independence in a complex, cross-functional environment with evolving priorities. A 12-month fixed-term contract with potential extension, reporting to the Digital Manager, is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Project Management and Business Analysis experience across business, digital, data, or technology-enabled initiatives.
• Ability to combine business analysis with practical delivery management, not just PM or BA roles.
• Strong capabilities in requirements elicitation, analysis, process mapping, and translating requirements into actionable items.
• Experience managing scope, priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives end-to-end from problem definition through planning, execution, and delivery.
• Elicit, analyse, and shape business requirements, clarifying problems, outcomes, scope and priorities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and actions.
• Prioritise requirements and delivery activities with stakeholders based on business value and constraints.
• Coordinate across multiple initiatives to identify cross-project dependencies and potential delivery conflicts.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to establish requirements, ownership, decisions and next steps.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, features, user stories, or other delivery items.
• Analyse end-to-end business processes, systems, and data flows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Document current and target-state processes and data flows; collaborate to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
• Provide clear project updates and decision support, escalating blockers when required.

Job description

A hands-on, delivery-focused Project Manager/Business Analyst with at least 4 years of relevant experience to support a portfolio of commercial digital initiatives.

Reporting directly to Digital Manager, the role will support areas under his remit including Aluminium, Copper Concentrate, Commercial Finance, and project planning and coordination.

The role requires someone who can bridge business analysis and project delivery, taking initiatives from problem definition and requirements through prioritisation, planning, and delivery.

The person should be comfortable operating independently in a complex, cross-functional and fluid environment, where priorities and requirements may evolve.

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract with potential extension based on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Support initiatives end to end, from problem definition and requirements through planning, execution, and delivery.
• Elicit, analyse, and shape business requirements, clarifying problems, desired outcomes, scope, and priorities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and actions.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritise requirements and delivery activities based on business value, urgency, dependencies, and constraints.
• Coordinate activities across multiple initiatives, identifying cross-project dependencies, sequencing, and potential delivery conflicts.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to establish requirements, priorities, ownership, decisions, and next steps.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, features, user stories, or other actionable delivery items, as appropriate.
• Analyse end-to-end business processes, systems, and data flows to identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Document current and target-state processes, requirements, system interactions, and data flows.
• Collaborate closely with business, Digital, data/engineering and system teams to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum.
• Provide clear, concise project updates and decision support, escalating material risks, dependencies or blockers where required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on Project Management and Business Analysis experience, ideally across business, digital, data, or technology-enabled initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to combine business analysis with practical delivery management, rather than operating solely as a PM or BA.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, process mapping, and translating business requirements into actionable delivery items.
• Experience managing scope, priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across business and technical teams.
• Comfortable working with data-driven use cases, including reporting, analytics, system/data flows, and integration points.
• Able to work independently, navigate ambiguity and bring structure and clarity to evolving requirements and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including concise documentation for both business and technical audiences.
• Hands-on and outcome-focused, with the ability to proactively drive issues and initiatives towards resolution and delivery.

Highly Desirable

• Product Owner experience or mindset, particularly requirement shaping, prioritisation, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives or cross-project dependencies.
• Consulting or advisory experience involving cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Industry & Domain Experience – Preferred

• Preferred but not mandatory experience in commodity trading, commercial or supply/value chain environments, preferably within metals, mining, energy, or related commodity industries.
• Preferred but not mandatory exposure to enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, trading, analytics, or data platforms would be advantageous.
• Understanding of commercial processes and data, with exposure to commercial, sales/marketing, finance, or operational stakeholders.
• Experience supporting digital, data, process improvement, or transformation initiatives in a complex commercial organisation.
• Experience with system integration, data flows/pipelines, analytics, or BI/reporting solutions is beneficial.
