Job summary

Changi Airports International Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, procurement and execution of mechanical systems packages for Terminal 5. Based at the Changi East Project Office, you will coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects meet schedule, budget and quality targets.

The role requires a good Mechanical Engineering degree and a proven track record in large-scale building or infrastructure delivery, with strong negotiation

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, procurement and execution of Mechanical systems packages for Terminal 5 development.
• Serve as primary interface between consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and project quality, safety and reliability requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple packages simultaneously.

Description:

As part of our project management team representing our client, you will be involved in the management and development of the future Terminal 5 building and its associated facilities. You will be based at the Changi East Project Office, the site of the future Terminal 5 building.

You will be part of the team responsible for managing the planning, procurement and execution of assigned building construction packages in Terminal 5 development. This role serves as the key interface between consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget and of the highest quality standard.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team consultants and contractors to ensure code and regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and maintainability of the system. The candidate shall work with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, managing, coordinating, and interfacing for construction implementation to ensure construction is carried out safely, within budget and schedule, to meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Good degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in the planning and project management of mechanical systems for building services.




• Proven track record in delivering large scale building or infrastructure construction packages.




• Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.




• Excellent coordination, negotiation and stakeholder management skills




• Ability to manage multiple building services packages simultaneously with attention to detail and proactive problem solving.




• Good written and verbal communication skills.




• Self-motivated, driven, assertive and analytical.




• Able to work independently to deliver results and have good project management skills.




• Good team player and able to handle fast-paced projects.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
