Job summary

Romulus Digital PTE. LTD.

is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead planning and delivery of a portfolio of technology and digital transformation initiatives, spanning enterprise systems, customer platforms, AI, and infrastructure upgrades. You will manage projects from requirements to handover, coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams, govern risks, budgets, and schedules, and ensure quality and business readiness across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a portfolio of IT and digital transformation initiatives involving enterprise systems, customer-facing platforms, infrastructure upgrades, AI solutions, and digital engagement technologies.

Job Description:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing technology projects from initial requirements gathering through implementation, acceptance, and operational handover.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, users, vendors, internal delivery teams, and service management functions to ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

The role requires strong capabilities in requirements management, vendor coordination, project governance, risk and issue management, change control, UAT coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements-gathering activities with business stakeholders, users, and other relevant parties to understand new technology and digital project needs.

• Analyse and validate business requirements and translate them into clear project requirements, specifications, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.

• Coordinate the preparation of detailed requirements and technical or functional specifications to support external vendor engagement and procurement activities.

• Participate in vendor evaluation processes, including reviewing proposals, supporting technical and commercial assessments, coordinating clarification sessions, and contributing to vendor recommendations.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering:

  project scope;

  timelines and milestones;

  budgets;

  resource requirements;

  dependencies;

  key deliverables; and

  acceptance criteria.

• Manage internal teams, implementation partners, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Track project progress and ensure deliverables remain aligned with approved requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

• Identify project risks, issues, constraints, and dependencies early and establish appropriate mitigation or resolution plans.

• Escalate significant risks or issues to service delivery or senior management where necessary.

• Establish and coordinate project governance activities, including project status reporting, management updates, steering meetings, action tracking, decision tracking, and stakeholder communications.

• Manage project change requests by coordinating documentation, impact assessment, stakeholder review, approval, and implementation tracking.

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users and delivery teams, ensuring testing feedback and defects are appropriately tracked through to closure.

• Plan and coordinate training, user communications, business-readiness activities, and change-management initiatives to support successful system adoption.

• Oversee the transition of completed projects into operational support and maintenance.

• Ensure project handover includes appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer, system access, support procedures, warranty information, and post-implementation support arrangements.

• Manage multiple concurrent technology initiatives within the assigned project portfolio.

• Projects may include areas such as:

  end-user computing and workstation modernisation;

  self-service kiosk solutions;

  contact and call-centre technologies;

  AI-powered virtual assistants and chatbots;

  live-streaming and recording platforms; and

  other enterprise or customer-facing digital initiatives.

• Plan and facilitate structured focus-group and user-engagement sessions during relevant project stages.

• Work with representative users and stakeholders to validate UI/UX concepts, wireframes, prototypes, customer journeys, and usability requirements.

• Consolidate user feedback and ensure approved findings are incorporated into subsequent design and implementation activities.

• Maintain clear and complete project records, including requirements, approvals, decisions, risks, changes, testing outcomes, and handover documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in IT project management, digital transformation, system implementation, or related technology project delivery.

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience managing IT projects, digital transformation initiatives, enterprise applications, or technology implementations.

• Experience managing projects across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, testing, deployment, and operational handover.

• Strong knowledge of project-management principles covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and quality.

• Experience managing external technology vendors, implementation partners, and internal project teams.

• Strong requirements-gathering and business-analysis capabilities.

• Experience preparing project requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria, or procurement documentation.

• Familiarity with vendor evaluation and selection processes.

• Strong experience in project governance, reporting, risk management, issue management, and change control.

• Experience coordinating UAT, training, business-readiness, and implementation activities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.

• Strong stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, and senior management.

• Strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Ability to produce clear project documentation, management reports, and executive-level updates.

• Experience coordinating workshops, focus groups, or structured user-engagement sessions.

• Understanding of UI/UX validation, user journeys, prototypes, or usability testing would be beneficial.

• Candidates must be available to work on a shift or roster basis, including weekends and Singapore Public Holidays, where required by project or operational needs.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience managing projects involving enterprise applications, CRM/ERP, e-commerce, customer engagement, AI, contact centres, or digital platforms.

• Experience delivering customer-facing technology involving web, mobile, kiosk, POS, contact centre, chatbot, or other digital channels.

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project-delivery methodologies.

• Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Planner, or equivalent platforms.

• Knowledge of ITIL or structured service-management environments would be advantageous.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, or equivalent project-management qualifications would be beneficial.

• Exposure to Microsoft enterprise technologies such as Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or Microsoft 365 would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of and experience with omni-channel and multi-touchpoint e-commerce systems, customer journeys, integrations, and associated operational workflows will be preferred.
