Job summary

Romulus Digital is hiring Software Engineers to join our delivery team in Singapore. You’ll design, develop, configure, test, and implement enterprise application solutions across complex environments.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to turn approved designs into reliable, production-ready solutions, collaborating with leads, consultants, testers, and stakeholders to deliver integrations, workflows, automation, and related components.

Qualifications

We are currently looking for Software Engineers to join our delivery team and contribute to the design, development, configuration, testing, and implementation of enterprise application solutions across complex digital environments.

As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary development team to turn approved functional and technical designs into reliable, production-ready solutions.

You will collaborate closely with Development Leads, functional consultants, technical specialists, testers, and other project stakeholders to deliver application enhancements, integrations, workflows, automation, and related system components.

The role covers the full software development lifecycle, from solution configuration and implementation through testing, deployment, documentation, and transition into ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Development Lead and wider project team to deliver assigned application-development initiatives and project workstreams.

• Translate approved functional requirements and technical designs into complete, maintainable, and operational system components.

• Develop and configure enterprise application enhancements in accordance with agreed solution designs and technical standards.

• Build and maintain system integrations, business workflows, automation components, and supporting application functionality.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure developed solutions accurately address business requirements and process needs.

• Work with technical team members to ensure solution components integrate effectively with the broader application and technology environment.

• Perform appropriate configuration, development, and technical validation before changes progress through formal testing and release stages.

• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and regression testing, identifying and resolving defects associated with assigned components.

• Analyse issues discovered during testing and implement appropriate fixes within agreed delivery timelines.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by investigating feedback, clarifying system behaviour, and addressing defects or required adjustments.

• Assist with deployment and release activities to ensure completed solutions are transitioned successfully into the relevant environments.

• Follow established development, testing, change-control, and deployment procedures throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Maintain clear and accurate functional and technical documentation for developed solutions, including configuration details, solution behaviour, interfaces, workflows, and supporting procedures.

• Prepare appropriate documentation and knowledge-transfer materials to support operational handover and ongoing application maintenance.

• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with maintenance, support, and other delivery team members.

• Work collaboratively across functional and technical disciplines to support timely and high-quality project delivery.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, solution quality, and delivery efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree, Diploma, or equivalent professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Professional experience as a Software Engineer, Application Developer, Technical Consultant, Dynamics Developer, or similar enterprise application role.

• Experience developing, configuring, or enhancing enterprise business applications.

• Ability to interpret functional specifications, technical designs, process requirements, and solution documentation and translate them into working system components.

• Practical experience in application configuration, customisation, workflow development, integration, or automation.

• Understanding of enterprise system integration concepts, data flows, interfaces, and APIs.

• Experience participating in structured application testing, including unit, system integration, and regression testing.

• Ability to investigate software defects and implement appropriate fixes or configuration changes.

• Experience supporting UAT and resolving business-user feedback and defects during the testing lifecycle.

• Familiarity with controlled development and deployment practices within enterprise environments.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with good attention to detail.

• Ability to produce and maintain clear functional and technical documentation.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional, technical, testing, project, and support teams.

• Ability to work within agreed project timelines and manage assigned development deliverables effectively.

• Candidates must be available to work on a shift or roster basis, including weekends and Singapore Public Holidays, according to project and operational requirements.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development, application development, enterprise systems implementation, or technical consulting.

• Knowledge of and practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Sales, Customer Insights, or Commerce will be preferred.

• Experience developing, configuring, or supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement applications, Dynamics 365 Commerce, or related Microsoft business applications.

• Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI.

• Experience developing or maintaining integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise or customer-facing applications.

• Familiarity with APIs, web services, databases, integration platforms, or middleware technologies.

• Experience implementing workflow and business-process automation solutions.

• Exposure to DevOps, source-control, CI/CD, build, deployment, or automated release processes would be advantageous.

• Experience working within large-scale enterprise application development, digital-transformation, managed services, or production-support environments.

• Knowledge of and experience with omni-channel and multi-touchpoint e-commerce systems and workflows will be preferred.

• Experience supporting solutions that connect multiple customer touchpoints such as websites, e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, POS systems, customer-service channels, payment services, and other digital channels would be advantageous.

• Understanding of end-to-end e-commerce workflows, including customer journeys, ordering, payments, fulfilment, post-purchase servicing, and related system integrations would be beneficial.

  Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related technologies would be advantageous.
