Job summary

STRAITS INT PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead projects from planning through to successful delivery, coordinating internal teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership, clear communication, and the ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, driving project success from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
• Establish project objectives, scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, trackers, budgets, and documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure responsibilities and deadlines are clearly communicated.
• Work closely with clients, management, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify delays, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Develop and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage changes to project scope, timelines, resources, and requirements.
• Track project costs and ensure spending remains within approved budgets.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Coordinate testing, implementation, handover, and project closure where applicable.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, meeting minutes, and relevant documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve project processes, workflows, and overall delivery efficiency.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned for future projects.
