Job summary

OMNI-CREST ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction programs, coordinate internal teams and external consultants, and drive project delivery from tender through to handover.

You will report to the Project Director and oversee design reviews, contract sign-off, risk management, cost control, schedules, and stakeholder communications, ensuring quality, time, and budget objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Report to Project Director.
  • Participating in tender process including design, submission and review.
  • Designing and signing off on contracts.
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Designing risk mitigation plans.
  • Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects.
  • Monitoring and streamlining post-contract administration.
  • Leading project planning sessions.
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources.
  • Managing project progress and adapting work as required.
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines.
  • Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports for executives.
  • Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
  • Managing large and diverse teams.
  • Conducting regular meetings.
  • Handling changes in client requirements.
  • Coordinating with clients and juggling responsibilities.
  • Monitoring all works by consultants and contractors.
  • Maintaining expenditure control systems.
  • Managing projects to meet time, cost and quality objectives.
  • Forecasting potential problems and preventing delays.
  • Adapting to changing roles and niches.
  • Setting schedules and milestones.
  • Highlighting project dependencies.
  • Negotiating responsibilities with employees.
  • Ensuring team alignment with the plan.
  • Arranging extra resources when needed.
  • Managing time in difficult circumstances.
  • Having alternate plans to meet client expectations.

  • Managing the project to meet the time, cost and quality objectives.
  • Monitoring of overall site construction with the view of forecasting problems for their prevention.
  • Close monitoring of all potential cost and time variations to the contracts.
  • More comfortable with changing roles and working in more niches than just one.
  • Setting an appropriate schedule for the development of certain deliverables.
  • Defining milestones.
  • Highlighting the project dependencies.
  • Negotiating current employees’ job responsibilities,
  • Managing their times and achieving their commitment to the project,
  • Contracts will need to be reviewed and keeping everyone in check to make sure that the team’s moves along in accordance with the plan.
