Job summary

Hitachi Rail Singapore is offering a Project Intern (NEL, V&V) position to support software verification and validation activities. The role focuses on ensuring reliable rail signaling and safety software through testing, scripting, and tooling in a Singapore location.

Interns will work on documenting procedures, improving system stability and security, and assisting across the software development life cycle under guidance.

Qualifications

• Full-time undergraduate course in CS or related field; interested in system engineering and V&V.
• Proficiency in Linux OS internals and networking concepts.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Available for a minimum of 6 months full-time internship.

• Support software verification and validation process.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course in Computer Science or any related technical field (e.g., Engineering) and interested in doing system engineering in particular verification and validation.


• Proficiency in Linux operating system internals and network concepts.


• Experience in developing tools using scripting language such as Python.


• Students who are able to commit to a minimum of 6 months full-time credit-bearing internships are preferred.
