Job summary

GOODLAND DEVELOPMENT PTE LTD. is seeking an experienced project manager for construction/renovation oversight in Singapore. The role requires coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Responsibilities include drawing preparation, scheduling, progress reporting, site inspections, and budget management. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success on multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in construction or project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM modeling.
• Able to work independently with strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Working knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project).
• Basic understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Strong site supervision and coordination skills with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements is an advantage.
• Valid Class 3 driving license preferred (for site visits).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction/renovation projects from initiation to handover.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Prepare project drawings, schedules, and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and safety compliance.
• Manage project budgets and assist in cost control.
• Resolve on-site issues and elevate risks in a timely manner.
