Job summary

THE HACENS TALENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT and cybersecurity initiatives in Singapore, coordinating with technical teams, customers, and Fortinet's delivery functions.

You will define scope, timelines, and milestones, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure governance, compliance, and risk controls across multiple projects with Fortinet technologies such as Fortinet Firewalls, Proxy Solutions, EDR, and SIEM.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in the cybersecurity, information security, network security, or IT security industry.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within IT or cybersecurity implementation projects.
• Hands-on or working knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and related security solutions.
• Experience with proxy implementation and deployment.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity technologies such as EDR, SIEM, Firewall/Network Security, Proxy/Secure Web Gateway solutions.
• Experience in understanding, gathering, and scoping customer requirements for project implementation.
• Strong experience in customer-facing roles, including identifying, managing, and resolving customer issues.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively between customers, technical teams, vendors, sales, operations, and support functions.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and project tracking skills.

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to support the end-to-end delivery of IT and cybersecurity projects. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, customers, Fortinet's sales and operational functions, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with governance and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong project management capabilities combined with practical knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, particularly Fortinet firewalls, proxy solutions, EDR, and SIEM.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end delivery of IT and cybersecurity-related projects.

• Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, documentation, and status reports.

• Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

• Work closely with technical teams to monitor project progress and identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Coordinate project activities across multiple internal teams and customer stakeholders.

• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Scope and understand customer requirements for cybersecurity project implementations.

• Work closely with customers to clarify requirements, expectations, deliverables, and implementation timelines.

• Identify, manage, and resolve project-related issues in collaboration with customers and technical teams.

• Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct regular project meetings, progress updates, and stakeholder reporting.

• Assist with stakeholder communication and vendor coordination where required.

Fortinet & Cybersecurity Coordination

• Work closely with Fortinet customer-facing functions, including Sales, Operations, Order Management, and Support, to coordinate project activities.

• Coordinate cybersecurity implementations involving technologies such as:

  • Fortinet Firewalls

  • Proxy Solutions

  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)

  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

  • Other cybersecurity and network security technologies

• Work with technical teams to ensure solutions are implemented according to customer requirements and project scope.

• Assist in identifying technical or implementation issues and coordinating appropriate resolution.

Project Financial & Commercial Management

• Determine appropriate revenue recognition for assigned projects.

• Ensure timely and accurate project invoicing.

• Monitor project receivables and follow up on outstanding items where required.

• Accurately forecast project revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization.

• Monitor project financial performance and highlight potential commercial risks to relevant stakeholders.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure projects adhere to internal project management, governance, security, and compliance standards.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

• Identify and escal project risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely manner.

• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and practices.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in the cybersecurity, information security, network security, or IT security industry.

• Proven experience in project management, preferably within IT or cybersecurity implementation projects.

• Hands-on or working knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and related security solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.

• Fortinet certifications such as Fortinet Certified Fundamentals, Associate, or Professional.

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.

• Experience managing enterprise cybersecurity or network security implementations.

• Experience working with Fortinet ecosystem and customer-facing delivery teams.
