Job summary

AMT Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team and manage engineering projects from start to finish. You will assist with cost estimation, manage project timelines, and ensure smooth execution of engineering activities.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in project engineering, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with PIM, GD&T, and secondary operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in project engineering or similar roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of project management principles (scheduling, resource allocation, progress tracking).
• Familiarity with Powder Injection Molding (PIM), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and secondary operations.

Responsibilities

• Management of Engineering Projects: Take ownership of assigned engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
• Cost Estimation Assistance: Collaborate with the team to assist in the cost estimation for projects, helping ensure that the projects remain within budget while meeting client requirements.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are clearly communicated and milestones are met.
• Project Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address project-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project time lines.
• Education: Master / Degree holder in Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in project engineering or a similar roles
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Project Management Knowledge: Solid understanding of project management principles and practices, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Powder Injection Molding (PIM) processes, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and secondary operations.
