Job summary

Honeywell Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead design, installation and commissioning of DCS/SCADA systems for gas detection and industrial automation projects. You will review blueprints, coordinate field activities, and ensure safety and quality.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, manage submittals, FAT/SAT tests, and support calibration of sensors and control panels on site. The role offers growth in a global, performance‑driven environment.

Qualifications

Experience in project coordination with gas detection, fire and gas (F&G) systems or industrial automation.
Strong understanding of gas detector sensor technologies (electrochemical, catalytic bead, infrared, PID).
Familiarity with PLC/SCADA, AutoCAD, MS Project and gas calibration tools.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret blueprints for gas detection layouts and sensor placement.
Supervise field installation, wiring, and integration of gas detectors and alarm systems.
Lead startup, functional testing, and calibration of gas sensing equipment.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety regulations (OSHA, IECEx, ATEX).
Troubleshoot detector/control system issues on site.
Manage submittals, FAT/SAT documentation and operations manuals.
