Job summary

Adecco Singapore partners with a world leader in industrial gases and services and seeks a hands-on Maintenance Engineer for DCS/PLC/SCADA/HMI systems. You will manage control systems to ensure continuous gas supply, document maintenance in the CMMS, and contribute to RCA and safety programs within the IMS framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher NITEC in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Basic hands-on knowledge of Siemens PLC systems (programming, troubleshooting, or maintenance).
• Experience with WINCC SCADA for monitoring and control.
• Familiarity with industrial automation or control systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain control systems such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI to ensure continuous and reliable gas supply.
• Ensure all maintenance activities and records are accurately documented in the CMMS (CIS) system.
• Prepare and submit monthly maintenance reports, highlighting system performance and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in RCA for reliability issues and develop preventive action plans.
• Ensure adherence to Job Order and Work Permit systems, maintaining a zero-accident environment under IMS standards.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs aligned with maintenance strategies and operational goals.
• Ensure availability and compliance of operating manuals and SOPs per IMS.
• Lead quality and safety audits related to E&I, including SOPs and RA.
• Support operations to ensure timely execution of PM, CM, and SDM activities.
• Provide prompt response to system issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Identify and manage critical spare parts inventory to support operations.
• Train and upskill operations staff on DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Supervise contractors, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces between disciplines and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Plan and manage mobilization of vendor representatives.
• Develop and implement site-specific procedures and work instructions aligned with company standards.
• Ensure construction and installation activities meet contractual quality standards.
• Report and track safety deviations, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
