Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead and deliver DCS & SCADA projects. You will design, install, test, and commission gas detection systems, control panels, and alarm networks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and drive quality from design through FAT/SAT. The role requires hands-on experience with gas detection tech and PLC/SCADA tools, and a commitment to safety

Qualifications

Proven track record in project coordination with direct experience in gas detection, fire and gas (F&G) systems, or industrial automation.
Strong understanding of electrochemical, catalytic bead, infrared, and PID sensor technologies.
Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems, AutoCAD, MS Project, and gas calibration tools.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints for gas detection layouts to ensure correct sensor placement.
Supervise field installation, wiring, and integration of detectors and alarm systems.
Lead startup, functional testing, and calibration of gas sensing equipment.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, environmental rules and safety laws.
Troubleshoot on-site control systems and communication protocols (Modbus/Profibus).
Manage technical submittals, FAT/SAT, and operation manuals.
