Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in project coordination with direct experience in gas detection, fire and gas (F&G) systems, or industrial automation.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrochemical, catalytic bead, infrared, and photoionization detector (PID) sensor technologies.
• Tools: Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems, AutoCAD, MS Project, and gas calibration tools.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints for gas detection layouts and ensure correct sensor placement.
• Supervise the field installation, wiring, and integration of gas detectors, control panels, and alarm systems.
• Lead the startup, functional testing, and calibration of specialized gas sensing equipment.
• Check that all work matches contract requirements, environmental rules, and industrial safety laws (e.g., OSHA, IECEx, ATEX).
• Fix complex issues with gas detectors, control systems, or communication bus protocols (like Modbus or Profibus) on site.
• Manage technical submittals, FAT, SAT, and operations manuals.
