Job summary

GAIN CITY ENGINEERING (M&E) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced air conditioning installation supervisor in Singapore to lead and manage installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. You will supervise electricians and skilled workers, coordinate with main and MEP contractors, monitor progress, and control project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of electrical supervisors and skilled workers to ensure quality and safety.
• Coordinate with main contractor, MEP contractors and other trades to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and workers, ensuring compliance with drawings and codes.
• Manage project budget for materials and manpower and monitor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, and enforce safety protocols.
• Provide updates to senior management on departmental performance and challenges.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and stay informed about emerging technologies in air conditioning repair and maintenance.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled air conditioning installation supervisor. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing the air-conditioning installation teams in carrying out their work efficiently and safely, while maintaining a high-quality standard of work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:
   • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of electrical supervisors and skilled workers
   • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
   • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team.
2. Stakeholders management:
   • Coordinate with main contractor, MEP contractors as well as other trades subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of works
3. Technical Expertise:
   • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, supervisors and skilled workers in executing their works according to technical specifications and drawings, as well as prevailing codes and regulations.
   • Ensure smooth execution of works in timely manner to meet project schedule
   • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in air conditioning systems.
4. Budget Management:
   • Manage the project budget in materials and manpower
   • Monitor expenses, analyze budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures.
5. Compliance and Safety:
   • Ensure compliance with industry regulations,safety standards, and company policies.
   • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of employees and customers.
6. Reporting:
   • Provide updates to senior management on departmental performance and challenges.
7. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
   • Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in air conditioning repair and maintenance.
