Job summary

RMA Contracts Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects in East Singapore. This contract role covers project coordination, site supervision, installation, testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network or Mechanical Engineering and have at least 3 years of related project experience coordinating contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant project experience coordinating installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience coordinating contractors and project stakeholders for installation, upgrading or implementation works.
• Knowledge of work permits, site access and stakeholder coordination is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project submissions, including specifications, drawings, test procedures and method statements, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise site installation, testing and commissioning, integration, defect rectification and handover activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to resolve site issues, technical challenges and interface matters.
• Monitor project schedules, progress and deliverables, and provide regular updates and reports to Management.
• Supervise site surveys, fibre optic routing, cable and network equipment installation, testing and commissioning, and resolve related technical issues.
• Support troubleshooting of network configuration, communication, connectivity and system integration issues, while ensuring compliance with project, quality and safety requirements.
• Attend project meetings, follow up on action items, support process improvements and perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects, covering project coordination, site supervision, installation, testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project submissions, including specifications, drawings, test procedures and method statements, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise site installation, testing and commissioning, integration, defect rectification and handover activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to resolve site issues, technical challenges and interface matters.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant project experience in coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning, preferably in engineering, network or fibre optic projects.
• Experience coordinating contractors and project stakeholders for installation, upgrading or implementation works.
• Knowledge of work permits, site access and stakeholder coordination is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM or similar tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work flexible/night hours when required, and travel between office and project sites.
